Correction to the Fair Booklet. The Miss Comber Fair pageant is scheduled to take place at 8:00pm, Friday August 5th in the Grandstand, not at 9:00pm. The correct time appears on the back cover's schedule of events, not on page 26 of the booklet.

Dear Friends
County Fairs are ingrained in the fibers of this country and the
152nd Annual Comber Fair is going to continue a tradition of
excellence. Where else could you go to get the great
entertainment and competition of a county fair while
installing the community with family values and good memories.
The residents of the Comber/Lakeshore community can have
the confidence in the fact that the goals of the Board of Directors
have changed very little in the last 152 years in regards to providing
a safe place where childhood memories can be remembered and new
memories with your family and friends can be realized and revitalized.
Make sure YOU take time to visit every part of the fair. View the
home crafts of canning, needle work, and other displays. Walk
through the animal barns. Enjoy Carter Shows Midway and
don't forget to relax at our beer tent. Enjoy the various vendors and
all famous Fair Food at the food courts.
As president I am proud that this fair has been produced annually
for now a 152 years by a good group of volunteers and businesses.
The Board of Directors operate the grounds year round and with
the exception of Fair week lease the grounds to Lakeshore Municipality
to be utilized as a public recreational park serving East Lakeshore residents.
A special thanks must go the the men and women who are on the various committees
and their volunteers whose efforts keep the fair going year after year.
